1. What May Be Posted
Users may post legitimate local goods, businesses, services, jobs, community information, and other lawful listings that fit the available categories. Listings must be accurate, clearly described, posted in the correct category, and submitted by a person authorized to offer the item, job, service, business, or opportunity.
2. Prohibited Listings
Illegal or regulated items
Illegal goods or services; stolen property; counterfeit goods; firearms, ammunition, explosives, or other weapons; illegal drugs; controlled substances; prescription drugs; tobacco, nicotine, alcohol, or age-restricted products.
Fraud and deceptive offers
Fake jobs, pyramid schemes, advance-fee scams, guaranteed investment returns, impersonation, forged documents, bait-and-switch pricing, misleading income claims, fake rentals, or listings designed to collect personal information.
Harmful or exploitative content
Human trafficking, sexual services, pornography, exploitation of minors, hate content, extremist promotion, threats, harassment, non-consensual images, or content encouraging violence or self-harm.
Privacy and intellectual property
Doxxing, private records, passwords, financial-account details, Social Security numbers, private conversations posted without permission, copyrighted content you do not have permission to use, or trademark counterfeits.
Dangerous or unlawful products
Recalled or unsafe products, hazardous chemicals, illegal pesticides, wildlife trafficking, endangered species, stolen vehicles, tampered identification numbers, or products prohibited by law.
Spam and low-quality listings
Duplicate listings, keyword stuffing, irrelevant links, mass messages, false locations, misleading photos, incomplete descriptions, excessive capitalization, or repeated reposting intended to manipulate search results.
3. Prohibited User Conduct
Do not threaten, harass, discriminate, impersonate, pressure, deceive, or manipulate another user. Do not send malicious links or request passwords, email verification codes, banking credentials, or unnecessary identity documents. Do not attempt to bypass owner approval, security controls, account limits, or a suspension.
4. Safe Buying, Selling, and Meetings
- Research the item, seller, buyer, business, property, and market price independently.
- Meet in a well-lit public place when possible, tell someone where you are going, and bring another adult for high-value transactions.
- Inspect goods and confirm ownership before paying. Keep written records and receipts.
- Be cautious with deposits, wire transfers, gift cards, cryptocurrency, payment-app “verification” requests, overpayments, and requests to forward money.
- Never share your password, one-time code, Social Security number, full bank credentials, or unnecessary identification documents.
- Stop communicating when a user creates urgency, refuses reasonable verification, changes payment instructions, or asks you to move to a suspicious link.
5. Jobs, Businesses, and Property
Job seekers should verify the employer and should not pay money merely to apply, interview, receive equipment, or unlock earnings. Employers must follow employment and anti-discrimination laws.
Business and property transactions can involve substantial risk. Independently verify revenue, expenses, ownership, leases, licenses, taxes, liens, franchise requirements, zoning, inspections, and legal documents. Use qualified attorneys, accountants, inspectors, title professionals, or other advisers when appropriate.
6. Reporting and Emergencies
Report suspicious listings, messages, or users to contact@khmerfinds.com. Include the listing title, link, screenshots, and a short explanation. KhmerFinds may remove content or restrict accounts while reviewing a report.
For immediate danger, threats, suspected trafficking, child exploitation, theft, or other crimes, contact the appropriate emergency service or law-enforcement agency. KhmerFinds is not an emergency service.
